Marley Alvarez is an intuitive abstract painter originally from Sydney, where she was raised amidst the vibrant urban lifestyle that influences her art. Currently based in Byron Bay, Marley's work is also inspired by the serene landscapes of her coastal home. Her paintings are characterized by layered colors and textures, each piece telling its own unique story.

Recently, Marley completed a three-month artist residency at the Swatch Art Peace Hotel in Shanghai, China. This experience infused her recent works with newfound perspectives and creative energies, redirecting her inspiration and leading her to explore new styles and color palettes.
